...to the North County Newcomers! We are a non-profit organization serving new residents of North San Luis Obispo County, on the beautiful central coast of California. Members meet for lunch on the first Wednesday of each month at locations throughout the county. We also offer a variety of activities; such as potluck suppers, golf, crafts and gardening, bridge and wine tasting. Whether your new address is in Atascadero, Paso Robles, Templeton or anywhere else in the North County, a whole bunch of new friends are waiting for you at the North County Newcomers Club.  We hope you will join us!

Program: Ahmad A. Amir, MD, Medical Care in SLO County

Ahmad A. Amir, M.D.  is the immediate past president of the San Luis Obispo County Medical Society. Under his leadership, the medical profession has worked to bring better medical care to our county.  Learn about the impending law suit and the health problems that led to that.  If you are frustrated with the medical care in our county, come learn what we can do as concerned citizens to improve the situation.
